The MOST attractive thing you can do when dating. And it has eff all to do with what you look like

Now I’m the first to admit, I used to be great at luring guys in for the first date or two.

I was alright at playing the aloof, laid back ‘cool girl’ who could drink them under the table and party all night. I’d agree when they said they wanted to go with the flow, and laugh winningly when they talked about how great ‘no strings dating was’. I’d watch football and rugby and F1 and shout at the TV alongside them.

It usually went to sh*t after date three when I either couldn't be bothered to pretend anymore, they got the impression that actually I wanted more, or my anxiety would go through the bloody roof.

And ‘poof’ they’d disappear!

But in reality, you can smell it when someone’s energy changes, or when someone is pretending to be something they’re not, so people like them. It feels icky. Or weird, or you get the uncomfortable vibe.

And this is what is so bloody important when it comes to dating. The most attractive thing in the world is when someone is themselves, unapologetically. When someone doesn’t bend, or mould themselves. When someone is true to what they want and their values. You know that you don’t have to chase, to beg or persuade someone to make time with you.

Yes, you might not be for everyone, but not everyone is for you. And you'll save yourself a massive amount of time in the process.

SO take a minute and ask yourself these questions:

👉 Do I know who I am? What are my likes and dislikes?

👉 Do I know what I want for my future? Can I say this to someone and hold strong?

👉 What’s my internal dialogue like? How often do you put yourself down? Call yourself fat, or lazy, or useless? Beat yourself up for not getting a promotion, or for not being married, or having kids, or being lacking in some way?

Through these questions, you’ll know if there is a little bit of work to do. Because I want you to get ready to step out from the shadows and stop dimming your light. I want you out of your comfort zone, confident and content in who you are and what you have to offer.
